Providing practical solutions to problems faced by conservationists
Vitacress Conservation Trust 2012 Chalk Stream Headwaters Forum – 25 November

This year we welcomed a host of speakers to focus on the importance of providing practical solutions to the ongoing problems apparent on many English chalk streams and the problems that conservationists are faced with during riverine restoration.
The importance and the problems associated with phosphorus pollution on English chalk streams were also highlighted. The particular aim of this conference was to spread the word and find practical solutions that contribute to the reduction of phosphorus, and improve the quality of water and habitats in chalk streams.
